Growing up

The Jones family was very close knit, and brothers Innes and Linton had a strong bond. Both of them full of fun and camaraderie.

Both Innes and Linton attended Havelock School. Linton was a very able student, but left school at the age of twelve to work on the family farm, due to the economic depression.

This meant he had to study some subjects by correspondence during 1939, in order to join the Air Force.
